The Armored Dome HoistCam (HD187/HD187i) is a high-definition, wireless camera system designed to give crane and heavy equipment operators a clear view of blind spots and critical load areas in real time. Engineered with a durable dome housing and IP66 weather-resistant protection, this manual varifocal lens Armored Dome HoistCam is built to endure harsh jobsite conditions including dust, moisture, and impact from debris.
HoistCam’s rare earth magnetic mounting system and safety lanyard allows for rapid, tool-free installation directly on the hook block or boom or piece of equipment, enabling quick deployment without crane modifications or downtime.The frequency hopping, AES encrypted wireless signal can transmit out to 2500’ line of sight with a reliable 1080P High Definition (HD) video feed. When battery power is not needed or native power preferred, the Armored Dome HoistCam is also available in the i-Series (HD187i) allowing it to connect to a local power source.
